Electrolux turns 100

On August 29, Electrolux Group celebrated its 100-year anniversary. In the headquarters in Stockholm, over 250 specially invited guests, including main shareholders, veterans, customers and suppliers, enjoyed an afternoon with historical highlights and the newest innovations on display.

Launch of intuitive kitchen range across Europe

A new Electrolux-branded kitchen range was rolled out across Europe, combining technology with human-centric Scandinavian design, taking the cooking experience to a whole new level for the consumer.

Electrolux Professional separates from Electrolux

In December 2019, the Electrolux Board decided to propose separation and distribution of the Professional Products business area to the Electrolux shareholders. Electrolux Professional was listed as a separate company on the NASDAQ Stockholm stock exchange in March 2020.

Upgrade of Brazilian factory completed

In 2020, Electrolux completed a significant investment in its Curitiba plant in Brazil. When redesigning the plant, standardized global modular product platforms were used leveraging global technologies and allowing a sharpened offering with more relevant features at a lower cost with best-in-class quality.

Recognized by CDP with double “A” score for climate and water action

Electrolux was recognized for its sustainability leadership with a prestigious double “A” score by the global non-profit CDP. Electrolux has been one of few companies to receive top marks both for its efforts to tackle climate change and acting to protect water security.

Launch of GRO – a future kitchen concept to help people eat more sustainably

Electrolux introduced GRO, a future concept aimed at reinventing the kitchen and enabling people to enjoy food in a way that’s sustainable for health and the planet through a collection of modular solutions powered by advanced sensors and AI, based on behavioural science and the planetary health diet from the EAT-Lancet report.

Cutting-edge water and energy saving laundry range

Electrolux Group – under premium brand AEG – revealed a new range of washing machines and tumble dryers that automatically adjust time, water, and energy usage.

One of the first companies to meet science-based climate target

In 2018, Electrolux Group was amongst the first 100 companies to set its global science-based climate target and in 2022 it become one of the first to meet it – three years ahead of plan.

Spotlight on energy efficiency with launch of EcoLine

The EcoLine selection, presented in-store and online, brought together Electrolux and AEG’s most energy efficient kitchen and laundry appliances, and most efficiently performing home care appliances aimed at helping consumers to reduce climate impact.
