Diversity and inclusion are essential to our business as they make us stronger, more innovative and a better employer.
For us to continue to shape living for the better, we must build diverse teams and take decisions based on the different perspectives around the table. This is one of the fundamentals that will really help us to thrive in the future as a company.
At Electrolux, we take a broad approach to diversity & inclusion (D&I). This includes ethnicity, race, color, gender, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, disability and other characteristics.
We nurture an inclusive culture where diversity is celebrated through respect and equal treatment as we live our purpose to shape living for the better.
Diversity and inclusion make us stronger, more innovative and a better employer. Come as you are – you belong and can grow here with us.
D&I governance
The HR Executive Team (HRX) has overall responsibility for D&I, including the setting of priorities, establishing global objectives and monitoring progress. A central taskforce develops proposals for initiatives, for review and approval by HRX, prior to implementation.

Our D&I Objectives
Collaborating on D&I
In 2021, we became a signatory of the United Nations Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs) as part of our long-term commitment to D&I in the workplace. WEPs are a set of principles offering guidance to business on how to promote gender equality and female empowerment in the workplace, marketplace and community.
Electrolux has also joined Workplace Pride, which is dedicated to improving the lives of LGBT+ people in workplaces worldwide.
Employee-driven grassroots D&I networks
We have several employee-driven grassroots D&I networks all around Electrolux that promote diversity, inclusion and equality based on local needs and priorities. The networks play an important role in coordinating local action and initiating initiatives. All the networks are open to anyone to join.
