Electrolux Group has once again been named one of Europe’s Climate Leaders by the Financial Times (FT) for its work to cut greenhouse gas emissions. The company has climbed 100 places on the FT’s list since last year making it the highest ranked home appliance manufacturer.
By the end of 2023, Electrolux Group had reduced its absolute scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 33%, reduced scope 3 emissions by 28% compared to 2021 and also switched to low global warming gases in 97% of its products with refrigerants. The company was also recently awarded an A score for its work to tackle climate change by the global nonprofit CDP.
