Rating agencies and sustainability rankings have recognized Electrolux commitment and performance to sustainability over the last year.
Dow Jones Sustainability World Index
For the ninth consecutive year Electrolux has been named Industry Leader in the Household Durables category in the prestigious Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI World). According to the assessment, Electrolux demonstrated notable improvements in the areas of product stewardship, corporate citizenship and human/labor rights. DJSI World includes the 10% best-in-class economic, environmental and social performers among the world’s 2,500 largest companies. Electrolux is the only company in the Household Durables category to qualify for DJSI World, and has been included every year since the index was launched in 1999.
Electrolux has been ranked Industry Leader Household Durables and the Gold Class award in the RobecoSAM Sustainability Yearbook, an annual rating of the leaders in corporate sustainability across 59 industries. It is the fourth consecutive year that RobecoSAM recognizes Electrolux in the yearbook as Industry Leader. RobecoSAM also publishes the globally prestigious Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI).
CDP Nordic climate disclosure leader
For the fifth year, Electrolux has secured a position on CDP’s Nordic Climate Disclosure Leadership Index (CDLI), We achieved a score of 99 of a possible 100, and are thereby among the top 10% of the Nordic 260 companies taking part in the index. The CDP provides the world’s only global natural capital disclosure system through which more than 4,500 companies from more than 80 countries report, manage and share environmental information. 767 investors, representing more than a third of the world’s invested capital, request corporate accountability through CDP.
Ranking as the 91st world’s most reputable company, Electrolux is included in the 2015 Global RepTrak® 100. The Global RepTrak® 100 is an annual study conducted by Reputation Institute to measure a company’s ability to deliver on stakeholder expectations in 7 key dimensions. It ranks the world’s 100 most highly regarded and familiar global companies in 15 countries.
